An actuator is a type of motor that moves or controls a mechanism or system. They need a source of energy to do this, such as an electrical current. It can also be powered through hydraulic or pneumatic pressure.
It works by converting this energy into motion. On a wet underfloor heating system, controlling the flow of water also helps to control the heat in the space too.
Underfloor heating actuators are designed to automatically adjust the water flow in the system, or into a particular zone or room.
Electro thermic underfloor heating actuators
Our electro thermic underfloor heating actuator controls the flow of both heat and electricity. Responsive to changes to the thermostat and heat levels, this small pieces of kit automatically adjusts water flow as and when needed.
A handy piece of kit for any underfloor heating system.
