Cut the tube supplied with a standard wheel metal pipe cutter. Make sure the cut is centrered in the valley between corrugations and carefully adjust the cutter on each full revolution around tube. Check the cut is clean with no sharp metal edges.
Using a sharp knife remove the yellow cover so that the last four corrugations are showing.
Place the nut over the tube and place the two semi-circular collets around it so that the ridges on the collets occupy the last three valleys of the tubing.
Ensure that the copper ring is in place on the seat inside the fitting. Tighten the fitting using two suitably sized spanners. The seal will form when the last corrugation grips the copper seat inside the fitting. Make sure that sufficient force is applied.
Conduct a gas tightness test then wrap the small gap using yellow silicone tape.
