The 20m2 underfloor heating kit is suitable for installation over existing surfaces like tile or wood, if the substrate is structurally sound, level, and well-prepared. However, installing over existing flooring will add to the build height. Make sure door clearances, thresholds, and transitions are checked beforehand and adjust trims or thresholds as needed to accommodate the new floor height.
