Our 2mm electric underfloor heating mat system is one of the most popular and versatile products on the market. One of the benefits to this system is the convenience, as the cable spacing has already been done for you in our factory. Therefore, all you need to do is roll the mat out all over the floor until it's used up. The cable can also be removed from the mat to fit into any awkward spaces around the room you may find.
This system is ideal for lounges, kitchens, bedrooms, dining rooms and most other areas.
Our 200w mats can be used for most applications and are suitable as a primary heating source (provided there is sufficient insulation in place).
The mats can even be tiled onto directly with suitable flexible tile adhesive or suitable levelling compound (please refer to manufactures guidelines for correct type).
PLEASE NOTE: To reduce any downward heat loss, it is essential that you have a good level of insulation beneath the UFH mat to maximise heat output.

The mats are 500mm wide and come in different lengths to suit the size of the room you require. For instance if you require a 4m2 mat kit, it would come on a roll of 8m2 long by 500mm wide. This covers 4m2.
NB: This warranty does not cover any floor coverings or cost of labour involved,
If the system is to be installed under wood flooring, ensure 10mm of Self levelling compound is used.
When using more than two heating mat / cables to connect into 1 thermostat it may be a little tight to get all the cables into the thermostat terminals – in this case you can use a junction box to connect them which can be positioned on the wall behind a blanking plate or similar.
You roll out the mat and cut it when you reach the end of the room then, flip it over and come back the other way ensuring you DON'T cut the wiring.
